Bikalpa Dhara for army deployment during election

Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh wants deployment of army during the Eleventh National Election. The party is also against reestablishing borders of constituencies. Bikalpa Dhara placed their 13-point proposal in a meeting presided over by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda at 11 am on Monday in Election Building.
A 14-membered team headed by AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury were present at the meeting, said sources.
Among Bikalpa Dhara's proposals are: deployment of army one month before the election, ensuring the protection of voters and candidates by the army on the day of election, keeping army in charge of enforcing law after 15 days of election, not reestablishing borders of constituencies, keeping an option to cast 'No Vote', ensuring that UNOs, OCs, presiding officers, appointed teachers and officials, members of army carryout their duties, not more than 300 to 500 voters per booth, not employing presiding officers in their native districts.
The Election Commission has sat in meetings with 27 parties so far.
