'Even CJ is not spared from AL's threat'

BNP General Secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir commented that even the chief justice is not spared from Awami League's threats and intimidations. He said, "Awami League is infuriated by the truths expressed by the Appellate Division. They are attacking the Judiciary for letting out the truth."
He made the comments while he was distributing relief materials among the flood victims in Sukanpuri union in Thakurgaon Sadar upazila.
He said, "We want bring back people's right to vote. We want you to exercise the right to vote which you were denied. All have to be united for this purpose. Illegal, immoral government has to be defeated."
Addressing the flood victims, he also said, "We are trying to stand beside the flood affected people despite the torture and suppression inflicted on us. That is why we are trying to help with whatever we can gather."
President of BNP's district unit Taimur Rahman, its Sadar Upazila unit's General Secretary Abdul HAmid others were also spoke to the crowd.
