Doob to be released in Bangladesh, India in October, Irfan khan to attend premiere

'Doob,' the much awaited film by Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, will be released on October 27 in Bangladesh and India. Later it will be screened in other countries. Farooki said, "Along with Bangladesh and India, we want to release the movie in Australia and Singapore. We are at the final stage of deal with the distributors there. We are also planning to release in other countries."
When asked if the movie will be released only in West Bengal or all over in India, Farooki said, "Our disatributors and producers are working there. It was not finalized."
Earlier it was heard that 'Doob' will be released on November 3, allegedly targeting the birthday (November 13) of novelist Humayun Ahmed. On that Farooki commented, "Totally out of question."
The director also gave news to fans- the lead actor in the film Irfan Khan will be will be present at the premier of the movie in Dhaka. Viewers can watch the movie with him, Nusrat Imroz Tisha and Parno MItra and take photos by winning a contest.
'Doob' was produced by Jaaz Multimedia of Bangladesh and India's Eskay Movies. Irfan Khan co-produced the film. The makers had difficulties in releasing the film due to a rumor of basing its story Humayun Ahmed's life.
