Tk7 lakh agreement over cheating in DU entry test, 4 held

Dhaka University (DU) authority has arrested four students over cheating in DU admission test for 'Ka' unit. The exam to get admission into the science faculty of the university was held from 10:00am to 11:30am on Friday morning at 87 venues on and around the campus.
Two of the detainees, Al Imran and Nur-e Arif, were detained from Business Faculty center. Two others, who could not be identified yet, were caught at Lalmatia College and Badrunnesa College centers.
Nur-e Arif told poriborton.com that he made an agreement with a test taker to receive Tk7 lakh for telling him the answers using a device.
Another detained student Imran said, he made an agreement of Tk2.5 lakh with another student.
Sources at the proctor's office said, the examiners caught those students communicating with using a device.
A Mobile Court of Magistrate Tauhid-e-Elahi gave them a punishment of imprisonment for 15 days. Shahbagh Police brought them away after that.
