Major reshuffle in Supreme Court administration soon: Law Minister

Law Minister Anisu Huq said acting Chief Justice M Abdul Wahhab Mia will reshuffle the Supreme Court administration soon. He said this after a long meeting with the acting chief justice at his office on Wednesday afternoon. Anisul Huq said, "The acting chief justice informed me that he will reshuffle the Supreme Court administration."
Regarding the vacation taken by Chief Justice (CJ) Surendra Kumar Sinha, he said, "The President will return to Dhaka today. Then he will take decision over the matter."
About the judges' service rules, he said, "This matter will be solved before the next hearing following the discussions held over the issue."
The first meeting was held on October 5 after Justice M Wahhab Mia took responsibility as the acting chief justice. At that meeting, the Law Minister assured the acting chief justice of giving all sorts of supports while he carries out the duty.
