Maple Leaf teacher went missing after leaving home to meet student

A teacher of English medium school Maple Leaf went missing from Green Road area in the city. The missing woman named Ferdausi Akram Fausia was a math teacher in Maple Leaf International School in Dhanmandi. Police could not find anything about her whereabouts after 15 days of her disappearance. A general diary was filed at Kalabagan Police Station regarding the incident.
Officer in Charge (OC) of Kalabagan Police Station Enamul Haque told poriborton.com that Ferdausi lived with her family in an apartment in Green Road. She left her apartment on July 2 to meet with one of her students. Since then she could not be found out.
The OC also said, "The mysterious thing is that she did not take her cell phone when she went out. We are ting to find out if she disappeared willingly, or someone abducted her."
Ferdausi joined Maple Leafe after completing Honors from Bnagladesh University and Masters from Ahsanullah Science and Technology Hospital. Her father is also a teacher at that school.
Ferdausi was very religious and used veil zealously. Police is investigating if she got involved in any militant organization.
Earlier, four youth named Imam Hossain (27), Tauhidur Rahman (26), Kamal Hossain (24), and Hasan Mahmud (26) went missing from Banani.
